Corentin - TOWT

Corentin was built and launched in the port of Quimper, France, in 1991. Drawn from the lines of l’Aimable Irma of 1840, a lugger which was part of a fleet of nineteenth century coastal ships that served the sea parts and estuaries, from Brest to Bayonne and Bilboa to Bergen.

Alongside charters and sailing holidays, she also carries cargo for TOWT – Transoceanic Wind Transport. Recently she carried 10 tonnes of cargo between Bordeaux and Brittany, including: wines, cognac, muscadet, preserves, oysters, coffee, tea and beer.
